Manufacturing
From individual parts to complete assemblies. Turnkey manufacturing, in-house welding and quality project management, with engineering support to improve what you make.
Discuss your project01 / Manufacturing capabilities
We carry out welding, testing and quality assurance in-house, supported by close relationships with local machinists and 3D printing partners. We combine these capabilities with our wider manufacturing supply chain to support prototypes, repeat production and complete assemblies. Process selection follows your design, quantity, material and delivery requirements.
Our new workshop in Capalaba, Brisbane, is being fitted out; its address will be shared when ready. We also have a London office and a global supply chain. We serve Australia and the UK, and arrange manufacturing and direct delivery to other destinations through trusted suppliers where the project allows.

Laser and waterjet cutting, bending and forming for sheet, plate, tube and structural components.
In-house welding and fabricated assemblies, with fit-up, finished dimensions and inspection requirements considered together.
Plastic components with tooling and production coordinated around the geometry, material and expected volumes.
Polymer and metal 3D printing for prototypes and functional parts, with process and material chosen for the application.
Cast components and extruded profiles, with secondary machining, finishing and assembly coordinated as required.
Coating, plating and other finishing operations selected around appearance, service conditions and specified requirements.
Bring manufactured and purchased components together, with agreed checks, identification, packaging and documentation.
The manufacturing route, process availability, tolerances, finish and lead time are confirmed for each project.

02 / Turnkey manufacturing
From sourcing individual components to delivering a complete assembly, we coordinate the work so your team has one point of contact.
We bring together suppliers, production schedules, in-house welding, assembly and finishing around your project requirements. We manage the dependencies between each stage and keep you informed as the work progresses.
The scope is agreed at the start, whether you need a manufactured subassembly or a complete product ready for delivery.
Confirm the drawings, quantities, responsibilities and delivery requirements. Agree the production route and checks before work starts.
Coordinate materials, purchased components and manufacturing across our workshop and supplier network.
Bring the parts together, complete the agreed assembly work and check the result against project requirements.
Coordinate packaging and delivery, with the agreed documentation accompanying the finished work.
03 / Product redesign & cost reduction
We review the design, manufacturing process and supply route together to find practical ways to reduce cost or improve the product within the same budget.
Consider alternatives such as tube laser cutting in place of machining, where the geometry and requirements allow. Reduce machining passes and unnecessary operations.
Build locating features, tabs and slots into parts, and develop jigging that makes positioning, welding and assembly quicker and more repeatable.
Reduce component counts and simplify joints and interfaces while maintaining the required function and performance.
Draw on our global supply chain to source components from suppliers with the right expertise, balancing cost, quality and delivery requirements.

04 / Quality project management
We agree the checks and documentation your project needs before production starts. From first article inspection to final delivery, we coordinate the evidence needed to confirm the work meets your requirements.

Define what needs checking, when it will be checked, who is responsible and how acceptance will be recorded.
Prepare First Article Inspection Reports against the agreed drawings and characteristics, so the results can be reviewed before proceeding as agreed.
Bring together dimensional results, annotated drawings, material certificates and finish records, linked to the relevant parts and revisions.
Track inspection findings, corrective work and any required customer approvals before the affected work is released.
Inspection scope, reporting and any specialist testing are agreed for each project.
